In honor of Absinthe Original’s recent relaunch we are launching our first ever T-Shirt design competition!
We have always wanted our very own cool Absinthe Original T-shirt, incorporating high quality cotton, water-based inks and a super cute design, to illustrate our mission of top quality real absinthe. We know that our visitors and customers are a creative and future-forward bunch, so we thought it is a perfect opportunity to open it up to our readers and see what you can do. Show off your design skills and promote the cause of sustainable style at the same time. You could even win some fabulous prizes in the process!
We are looking for designs that are creative, cool and incorporate the Absinthe Original brand some way - either through our color palette, green planet and fairy imagery, or the Absinthe Original logo. The winning designer will have their design printed on all of our T-shirts, and will also win a $1000 gift certificate to spend at absintheoriginal.cz.

4/ RATING BEGINS
Your design is available for all to rate. Promote it via your website, myspace, blog or emails.
5/ THE BEST DESIGNS WIN!
The highest rated design wins $1000 gift certificate to spend at absintheoriginal.cz on fine Absinthe and will have their design printed on all of our T-shirts.
Two runners up will receive a bottle of Absinthe Original, one bottle of fine Absinthe Original Bitter Spirit and an absinthe spoon.
Template Guidelines
Select a tee colour from the colours layer set.
Use a maximum of four (4) colours for your design - no gradients or transparent layers are allowed.
Keep the design off the seams.
Save the design as a GIF or PNG at 1000x750 pixel resolution before uploading.
Remember the design must be your own original unpublished work and must NOT contain any third-party logos, trademarks or copyright material.
Design MUST incorporate the Absinthe Original brand some way - either through our color palette, green planet and fairy imagery, or the Absinthe Original logo.
By entering the competition, you agree to give Absinthe Original non-exclusive rights to publish your work on our website and/or use your design on our T-shirt
The image with the highest percentage of "excellent" votes wins and it is chosen entirely on public votes. One vote per visitor only.
Closing date for our T-Shirt design competition is 31st of January 2009.
The winner will be notified by e-mail before 31/03/2009.
There are no alternative prizes or cash alternatives.
We reserve the right to edit or delete all images.
None of these terms and conditions affect your statutory rights in any way.
Designs should incorporate the following:
1. Absinthe Original color scheme (black, red - 0/100/100/20, green - 100/0/61/61) + Absinthe Original logo or logotype
2. The original Absinthe Original T-shirt was black - so black is preferred over colored T-shirt designs
3. Up to 4 colors are allowed, but less = more. If you can do a fabulous design in 1 color, this will give you a leg up in the competition
4. Designs can fit ANYWHERE on the T-shirt body (except seams), and creative use of the T-shirt space is encouraged.
We are looking for designs that are fabulously eye-catching and creative, but MUST BE also wearable and practical. Design something you would be proud to wear yourself.
